Psalm 94

(Psa 94:1)
O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
(Psa 94:2)
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
(Psa 94:3)
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
(Psa 94:4)
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
(Psa 94:5)
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
(Psa 94:6)
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
(Psa 94:7)
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Many times evil rulers and groups of people have desired not only to destroy the Jews but also destroy the true Christians that stand against evil and uphold the word of God. Even among Christians the secular, carnal Christians will persecute those that stand for holy living and still preach against sin. The Jews are a target because of their past sins and their rejection of Jesus Christ. Even those who have called themselves Christians have persecuted the Jews. I will say this boldly to all Jews. Any Christian who persecutes a Jew is not a real bible believing Christian. I don't care what he or she may call themselves, if any person really knows the bible they would know not to touch God's anointed people whether they be Christian or Jew. The Jews are out of fellowship with God because of unbelief in rejecting Jesus Christ. They will be restored. We are to always pray for the peace of Jerusalem and never lift up our voice or hand against a Jewish person. We can disagree with them, try to bring them to Christ, and oppose them when they do wrong but we are not to mistreat them, ridicule them or do them harm. God Himself will take vengeance on any nation who rises up against Israel. How do I know that? Read the history of Israel and see. In the prophets we see that God used nations to punish Israel but He also punishes the nations that persecuted Israel very severely. God allowed Hitler to exist for a season but Hitler is probably burning in an eternal hell for what he did and is heard from no more. Germany was judged severely for their treatment of the Jewish people.

(Psa 94:8) Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
(Psa 94:9)
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

God sees all that every nation does. God knows what is done in secret. There is nothing that shall not be make known except that which is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

(Psa 94:10) He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
(Psa 94:11)
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Those that think to rise up against any of God's people shall be judged by God. It is vain to boast against the people of God. Evil powers are only temporary.

(Psa 94:12) Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

When the word of God causes one to repent, we are blessed of God.  Its only those that reject and refuse to repent that will face God's judgment. If we judge ourselves, we shall not face judgment but enter eternal life.

(Psa 94:13) That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
(Psa 94:14)
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
(Psa 94:15)
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
(Psa 94:16)
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
(Psa 94:17)
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
(Psa 94:18)
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
(Psa 94:19)
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

We can actually be poor in this world's goods and be full of joy and delight because of God. When we learn these things, we learn what true riches are. When I was a child when we talked of being blessed by the Lord, it was never concerning material things or money. When we were blessed and talked of being blessed we referred to spiritual blessings not material.

(Psa 94:20) Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
(Psa 94:21)
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
(Psa 94:22)
But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
(Psa 94:23)
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

Never should any individual or nation lift up their hands against an innocent person. If we do not repent, we face eternal judgment for hurting someone who did us no wrong. I pity anyone who lifts up their hands against an innocent child whether that child is born or still in the mother's womb. They are innocent and do not deserve to die by our hands.

The beautiful picture is that God desires to save and deliver us from all sin. We are a slave to sin until Jesus Christ comes into our lives and makes us whole. We become born again by the spirit of God and alive spiritually.

Jesus came to save from sin. There is no reason for any of us to perish.
