Have you ever heard someone who goes around saying, "Thank the Lord," or "Praise the Lord?" Let us not be too critical because that is exactly how we should be in our daily walk with God. We should be thankful for all things we have. To sing praises is pleasing also to God and helps us to walk in joy.

When we give our lives to God, He will surely show His lovingkindness to us. We will see His faithfulness. God has no problem being faithful. We are often the ones who are not faithful to Him.

In everything we have we can give thanks. If we play any instrument, we should use them to praise the Lord. We can use our voices if we have no instruments. Any instrument whether guitars, the piano, banjos, organs, even drums can be used to praise and sing to the Lord.

If we look for things to praise the Lord for, we will find them. Notice those that murmur and complain do not praise the Lord as much as the happy ones.

If we lack wisdom we can ask of God and receive more of the knowledge of His word. The more we seek, the more we will find, the more we seek, the more we will want to seek. The less we study the word, the less we will want to study the word.

The world will not understand what we get out of studying the word or worshipping God. It will boggle their minds that we would rather sit in a congregation and worship rather than go to a ball game or sleep late on Sunday morning. They do not know what they are missing. They think that they are free and happy sleeping around, drinking their beverages, and dancing till dawn. They desire freedom to do as they please without us warning them against sin. They think it strange that we are not running with them. Yet if they have joy, it is but for a moment. They have no peace and no real contentment. They that trust the Lord and delight in Him are the ones with peace and contentment. They that worship Him in praise and song are the ones with true joy that is still there when the morning comes.

This is a sad message but those that ignore God's word and reject His message of salvation, will be destroyed forever. God will judge sin. Sin separates us from God and if sin is in our hearts, we will bear God's judgment. There is no way for us to get rid of sin by ourselves. Our willpower is too weak. God sent His Son Jesus to bear our sins, pay the price for our sins and remove our sins at the point when we come to Him willing to repent and give our life to Him. This is the only way of salvation. There is no other.

Surely in the past, present and in the future judgment, all enemies of the Lord will be removed.

The righteous are those that love God and live by His word. The righteous are those that have repented of sin and accepted God's plan of salvation which comes by faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is actually God in the flesh. He came in the flesh, born of a woman, grew to manhood, preached the gospel, died for our sins, rose for our justification and is at the Father's right hand making intercession for all who believe on Him.

We cannot reply against God nor find fault with Him. He did all He could do to save mankind. First He sent His law through the hand of Moses to show us what sin is and how sin condemns and separates us from God. He showed us the penalty of sin which is death both physically and spiritually. He showed us how to be cleansed of sin by sacrifices. Those sacrifices pointed the way to the one that was to come to give Himself as a perfect sacrifice. This was Jesus Christ who did no sin and could be the perfect sinless sacrifice for all who believe. Animals could not cleanse sin and give us the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus cleanses the believer of all sin canceling out the death penalty that the law put upon us every time we sin. Our natural body still dies but our spirit lives and our soul will receive a new body at the resurrection. The Holy Spirit abides within everyone that receives Jesus Christ by faith. All it takes is faith. We don't have to do great good deeds to merit salvation. It is freely given to all who will repent of sin and accept Jesus Christ.
