Guilt
Guilt is something that will eat at your heart. It is not easy to bear
up under the awful weight of the knowledge of what sin really is. Today
there so many who are excusing themselves of the responsibility. God
never intended for any man to commit sin, but thanks be to Him evermore
for making a way of escape.
The mind of man, is not the mind of God . It is a
renegade, running rampant . It was never His will for this to happen,
but it did,
When the first man Adam made the decision to disobey
God in the garden of Eden, it became the will of man to do everything on
his own will. The Lord did want for man to make a choice, and that was
for man to follow and worship Him. In this choice we are given the joy
of the knowledge of receiving eternal life, in the presence of the
Creator Himself.
In this we are finding great joy, peace and
love deep down inside, in the inner man. Yet there is a war going on
within. in my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin
which is in the members.
Romans 5:8 But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
Romans 7:23 But I see
another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and
bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:24 O wretched man
that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Romans 7:25 I thank God
through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the
law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
This ongoing insurgence continues to attack
the us in the spirit, because the mind of the fleshly man is at enmity
with God. This is the one battle that we will
always endure. God will give us the power to be over comers! Guilt is
the giant that we must face and destroy, in order become the
warriors that we must be. This is an
attack by the flesh, telling that we have done to much sin to be
forgiven, but this is erroneous. If that were true, God would never have
sent His only begotten Son to sacrifice Himself that we could be
delivered.
John 3:16 For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Also Romans 5:8 But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
And Romans 5:8 But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
There are many scriptures that proclaim His
forgiveness . If we will accept the Love of the Lord, then we can
believe to receive more of Him.. But there is also an evil spirit that
is encouraging folks to go ahead and sin, Gods grace will cover it all
and you can come back anytime you want to. The Grace of God is for the
guilt, but it is in no wise an excuse to commit sin.
Romans 1:28 And even as
they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over
to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
2 Timothy
3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist
the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Titus 1:16 They profess
that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and
disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
We must come against such thinking, it is causing
people to lose out with God, and they’re going to hell by the millions.
We must tell the truth! Pastors and leaders are are fearful ot telling
folks that the ,
( Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all
souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son
is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.)
There is no exception to the fact. As we live in
Christ we will be bombarded with many of the wrongs/sins that we have
committed and the guilt will cause many to fail, because they think that
they are still held to those sins. God sent His Son to carry every sin
to the old rugged cross, never to be remembered, never to pay again. He
just gave his all for us all, if we will receive it. I want you to know
that everyone will have their battle with guilt. It is something that
nobody can do for us we must face it ourselves. Oh but remember that if
Christ paid the cost and you have been forgiven, then one must learn how
to forgive oneself.
Matthew
6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will
also forgive you:
Matthew
6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your
Father forgive your trespasses.
If find it is hard to forgive yourself, it is
probably because you are harboring some unforgiveness toward some one.
The Holy Ghost ready to help you to get rid of the hurt, anger and
resentment. Just call on Him, worship Him, Praise Him and He will take
to the place of peace and contentment. If you are dealing with guilt,
take it to Jesus and He will help you leave it at foot of the cross.
Matthew
11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest
Matthew
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in
heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew
11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Pastor A D Mullins
